reminding self to think about this while on vacay

Been thinking about this idea for some time (well ever since I left the mainland)

If TY and I end up buying a house in Arizona and moving back (our lease is up here Apr 30) I'd really love to explore the idea of travelling around the states (and then outside US later on) . Seriously the main goal is to go to dance haflas around the US and MEET everyone . I can bring veils so that it's dubbed a business trip and make it all official but I thought it would be so much fun to hit some big areas of dance and meet everyone.

This is not the type of event that I'd think about coordinating on its own, more like in conjunction with other events going on. It's VERY hard for me to sit at a booth and vend (shudders, sitting still? ) would much prefer to be the observer and watch dancers, chat, and I suppose if I left a stack of cards and we talked business for a few minutes that's a business trip, right (tell my accountant)

Anyways am throwing the idea out, plane tickets don't cost too much from Phoenix Arizona. I'd love to back away from the computer for a time and meet everyone in person.

Not sure if a trunk show, on its own , would fly. If it was of interest, I could pack a few of those large rolling suitcases with mounds of silk veils, dresses, skirts, scarves. If someone was teaching a veil workshop maybe it could coincide. (I can help market the event from my site)

Not sure how many places at a time I could afford to visit, probably just short weekend trips since the baby is still little. If it was just two days I could leave him with daddy and my mom. I'm gonna cc my blog on this and think about the costs involved while we're in AZ..
