so do you think you should be an excellent communicator with your 'mate' or do you think some things are better left un-talked about? how often do you not understand each other, and why is there a misunderstanding? is it lack of hearing each other or different interpretations or a cultural thing? if your 'mate' was silent most of the time are you ok with that? if they tell you they love you because it's what you expect to hear does it mean less? or does it mean anything? is the idea of love something so different between the two of you that you can agree that there is a love between you but not one that is everlasting in a 'mate' sense? and what is a 'mate' , what are your terms or guidelines?
