my barbie lookalike

i swear if i was a barbie this is what i'd look like. was looking at long hairstyles for straight hair and ran across this photo..seriously if someone made me into a barbie (which they really should) this would be a damn close representation. our hairstyle and color is almost identical but the bottom half of my hair is more burgundy. but with the layers, and flat ironed straight..yup. she needs some cleavage though. add more barbie silicon please (mine are water)

after a consult with a stylist yesterday she told me i would have to choose between permanently straightening my hair and surfing (since surfing is in salt water and lots of sun). it was a no brainer, i sighed, let my shoulders drop, but knew i could not give up surfing.

she did suggest a rather expensive flat iron. ive bought ones from walmart before but i guess they are inferior to salon products. i paid a lot of change for it but i do have to admit the damn thing works. i can section off pieces of hair and make them flat and slick. a few hours later i do notice a bit of lift to the layers coming back but i can live with that. a shine serum was sold with the iron..something to make the shine apparent or maybe disguise the damage that all that heat is doing to hair. but today, i'm satisfied. i feel like i'm back in diva bitch mode again. thank you Jessica

and there is something to straight hair! today i did not wander around town with my usual full wavy hair. today it was manicured and slick. you can see all the highlights. it rules. i feel hot. the makeup was ok, kinda rushed. the outfit was ok. boots are always good. but i swear the long hair just makes you look like a polished bitch. i even painted my nails.

well shit its 230, i sent out packages today but am now back home and need to put the long locks back up in a ponytail and go sweat and make more veils. but i better make and sell something to pay for that new flat iron.
